Projection Light Does Not Turn On Or Stay On, RC-8427

If the projection light does not turn on or stay on:

The clock must be plugged into AC power to continuously project.
The PROJECTION ON/OFF slide switch must be turned ON (#11 below):
If the AC adapter is plugged in and powered by AC power and the slide switch is turned on, the unit may need replacing.
If you remove the batteries and connect to AC power only, and the clock does not power at all, there is an issue with the AC adapter or clock.
If you have a volt meter, test the AC adapter voltage. If the voltage is zero, the AC adapter requires replacement. If the AC adapter is outputting 5V, the clock needs replacing.
