The thermometer accuracy is +/- 2 degF and the hygrometer accuracy is +/- 5%.

Note that the indoor temperature sensor is inside the AC adapter connector, so make sure it is not near a potential heat source.

If the indoor console and outdoor sensor are sitting side by side and outside of this range, there is an issue with the thermo-hygrometer.

Make sure you have fresh non-rechargeable batteries in the unit. I prefer Lithium and Alkaline.
